[Requesting Sticky ;)] An Introduction To RuneCrafting + Magic!

So presumably, you're reading this to learn how to start mage as you need runes. This guide will tie in on how to do Runecrafting as well.

Step One - Collecting Essence

To do magic, you need to collect Rune Essence. To do this, equip the pickaxe you get when you join, go to the shops, right click Aubury and click Teleport.

He will take you to the rune essence mine. Go down any of the four paths - they all lead to rune essence rocks.


Step Two - Making Runes

You must find altars in order to make runes with the rune essence you have already mined.#

There are TWO altars in-game. For this part to work, you must understand directions.

Nature - Level 1
The Nature altar is just north-east of Yanille.

Once you've made these, switch back to normal magic.
To do this, go to Options, and click Yes-No on Switch Magic.

You MUST have a staff equipped to alch! You can buy one from Aubury for 78K.

The black line leads you to Aubury. The red one leads you to the Nature Altar!




Blood - Level 50
The Blood altar is in Seers Village. First, teleport there.

Now you're there, go to the Pub [Western Direction] And go a little bit south. It's hidden around a few trees. If you require a map , I will try and get ahold of one for you!

I has acquired a map! :O Follow the Yellow Line!


Once you've made these, you can do Ancient Magics! You start off with ancients when you first log-in, so provided you haven't changed to suit Nature Runes, you won't have to do any switching back.

Equip a staff [Bought from Aubury at 78K each!] and you may autocast! Just don't run out of runes! XD
